Job Summary

As the Medical Spa Manager, your duties will include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the spa, managing staff, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with medical professionals, estheticians, and support staff to maintain high standards of care and achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of estheticians, front desk staff, and other spa personnel. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure the efficient and smooth operation of all spa services, including scheduling, client management, and inventory control.
  • Uphold a high level of customer service by addressing client concerns, ensuring client, and maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
  • Maintain adherence to all applicable health and safety regulations, licensing mandates, and industry benchmarks.
  • Manage the spa’s budget, monitor expenses, and work to achieve revenue targets. Implement strategies to increase profitability.
  • Coordinate with medical professionals, including dermatologists and plastic surgeons, to ensure seamless medical and aesthetic services integration.
  • Work with the marketing department to develop and execute marketing plans that highlight spa services, events, and promotional activities.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high service and client satisfaction standards.
  • Prepares and delivers routine operational updates during scheduled meetings, ensuring clear and concise communication of key information to facilitate effective decision-making and team collaboration.
  • Commits to professional growth and industry expertise by actively participating in all traveling educational seminars and in-person training sessions, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the latest advancements, trends, and best practices within the medical spa field.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in spa management, preferably in a medical spa setting.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management capabilities, fostering inspiration and motivation among staff.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various aspects of spa operations.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Capable of adjusting to shifting priorities and thriving in a fast-paced setting.
