Policies of Ethereal Skin Medical Spa

Appointment Policy

  • If you’re a new client to ESM, please arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment due to paperwork and questions. Arriving late to your first appointment will affect our thoroughness to assess due to rushing, and will affect our punctual clients after. You may be asked to reschedule.
  • If you are a returning client, please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment to get situated/change/use the restroom. We want to ensure you’re enjoying your oasis and not rushing into the treatment room due to delay.
  • If you are running late, you must call and notify your current provider at the spa. After 10 minutes of tardiness, you may be asked to reschedule and pay our late fee due to assembling/setting up for the appointment/reviewing charting + patient care planning. We as skincare professionals do not believe in rushing your treatment. We strive to provide the best results-driven skincare and cannot fulfill those duties due to tardiness/rushing through your appointment. This will also affect our punctual clients after. If you are late more than three times, you may enter our late charge fee of $25 from Ethereal Skin Medical Spa due to failure to abide by spa policies and being punctual.
  • At Ethereal Skin, we have a 48-hour CANCELLATION policy implemented to ensure all our clients can book with us without waiting due to last-minute changes. We understand life challenges and things come up. Suppose you cancel your appointment within the 48-hour timeframe. In that case, this now challenges us not to be able to fill the slot appropriately due to the time constraint, and you will automatically be charged $100 & will not be able to rebook until paid in full. Declined cards will be unable to rebook until the fee is paid. If the client cancels within the 48-hour period three times or more, they will be required to pre-pay for future services when booking an appointment. The amount prepaid is nonrefundable if the no-show/cancellation policy is violated.
  • All of our services require a consultation before treatment to ensure you are a candidate for the treatment, providing safe and ethical results. If you are not a candidate for the service booked, the medical professional will provide a recommended service. If considered, the treatment is not for you after the consultation. A $50 in-person consultation fee for the provider’s education and time spent with the client will be applied.
  • If under 18 years old, a parent is required to be present and sign off on treatment.
  • No call No shows will be automatically terminated from Ethereal Skin Medical Spa.
  • No call No shows will be charged for 100% of the service total and cannot be applied in the future.

Respecting our providers here at ESM is crucial, as some may be booking weeks out in advance for treatments. Being as transparent with our policies as possible, we thank you for your understanding of our cancellation/no-show policy.

Refund Policy

  • Our refund policy automatically transfers to in-store credit at Ethereal Skin Medical Spa and has 90 days to be used/put towards future appointments/skincare.
  • Defective products must be exchanged within seven days for the same product only.
  • Our refund policy is specific to adverse reactions only. Aesthetic treatments are highly customizable. With thorough education provided by our staff, we optimize your experience and strive to communicate realistic results that may not happen within one treatment. If not achieved, the client is responsible for additional treatment needed to achieve results.
  • Pictures of adverse reactions must be emailed to [email protected] 48 hours after treatment. If pictures are provided after the 48-hour window, we cannot honor the refund, as these are reactions from something outside of EMS. Medical professionals and clinical studies state that mixing different skincare after treatments/not following the treatment plan/post-care regimen can lead to reactions that are not within our medical professionals’ hands.
  • If an adverse reaction occurs, we will require you to come into the medical spa immediately to assess precisely/make a treatment plan.

Children / Pet Policy

At Ethereal Skin, we understand how important your little ones and fur babies are to you. Please be mindful of our other guests and staff members, as we cannot keep an eye on them. This ensures the safety of your pets and children. Please make arrangements for your children/pets prior to your appointment.

  • Service animals are an exception, with proper documents sent prior to the appointment. Please email service animal documentation to [email protected], followed by the day of your appointment and scheduled service.

Credit Card Policy

  • Credit cards are required to be put on file prior to your booking.
  • Credit cards must be active at all times. Failure to have an active card will result in the cancellation of any future appointments until payment is updated.
  • Credit cards on file help us lock in your appointment.
  • Credit cards will only be charged if a violation of company policies occurs.
  • Credit cards will not be charged for service unless permitted by the client.
